Emotional Support Dogs

An emotional Support dog is a pet prescribed by a licensed therapist to provide a health benefit for those that suffer from an emotional or mental disability and more. These dogs have rights that normal dogs do not.

Your ESD must always be well-behaved and under control, and cannot threaten the health and safety of others. You do have to register your ESD, but I would recommend it, to make it easier for you and your dog and not have to explain your rights to others. You will be allowed to bring your ESD into “no pets” policy apartments/housing without being charged any additional fees.
